An Evening of Artful Dining.

On Friday evenings during 6x6, Baang and Burne will host a  series of fun, cozy at-home dinner parties for the exhibiting artists and a small group of hungry art lovers.

The Friday Night Art Date dinner party is the perfect chance for you to enjoy a fantastic evening in the company of other Artists, Creatives, and Art Lovers.

You’ll also have the rare opportunity to see a special “back room” selection of artwork from the 6x6 exhibition and the chance to meet and talk with the artists over a superb meal.

Amuse-Bouche: Sevillian Marinated Carrots

Entrée: Mediterranean Salad with Manchego, Olives, and Almonds

Main Course: Chicken, Saffron Onions and Couscous with Dates

Dessert: Golden Olive Oil Cake

Kesha Bruce - Kesha Bruce's work explores memory, history, and magical-spiritual belief and reveals a fascination with folklore, superstition, and storytelling. The narratives in her work fuse Southern Baptist tradition with both African and Native American belief systems.

Jane Zweibel - Jane Zweibel creates visual, hybrid stories.  The pieces in each of her bodies of work are like the non-linear chapters of a novel.  The genres of portraiture, landscape and still life are often mixed, merged and re-invented.  A reoccurring theme in her work is an on-going quest for identity, an interested in the interweaving of private and public realms, autobiography, social issues, and fact and fiction.
